What are the recommended audio and image formats?

Audio can be any common audio format such as mp3, wav or m4a. Uncompressed formats such as wav are usually better for quality and rendering speed, but the difference is usually not noticeable.

For the artwork, it is recommended that you use 16:9 images so that they fit the video format better, when using the Stationary or Zoom templates. The Bounce and Blur templates work better with square artwork.

What can I do to improve the rendering speed?

Slow render speeds can be caused by many factors, but what affects it the most is the output format and quality.

Especially if you're using an older Mac (models from before 2019), avoid using the HEVC output options. Those produce smaller output files, but they end up using the CPU for rendering on older Macs, which is not ideal.

The best compromise between rendering speed and quality is the 720p H.264 option.

On how many Macs can I install FusionCast with a single purchase?

If purchasing directly, every license allows for up to 5 activations.
